Installations & Account Set-up
- Install a text editor: Visual Studio Code
- Git and command line tools setup - follow instructions in the installation guide
- Sign up for a GitHub account and sign up for the Student Developer Pack
- Sign up for an ACCESS account: https://access-ci.org/
- First you’ll need to register as user in ACCESS: https://operations.access-ci.org/identity/new-user
- On this page, scroll down to option “1. Register with an existing identity” and click on the link.
- You should then be taken to a page where you can sign in with your BMC credentials – select Bryn Mawr College as the Identity Provider in the drop-down menu and then it’ll take you to the college SSO login page.
- You will then be taken to another page to complete your registration.
- Once you’ve completed your registration, reply to this email and I’ll add you to our allocation so that computing credentials on Jetstream2 can be generated for you.
